On May 2, 2019, Howard County Executive Calvin Ball hosted a ribbon cutting at Howard House. A partnership between the county and Tuerk House, Howard House is a new 16-bed treatment facility for substance use disorders, including opioid addiction. Remarks were made by County Executive Ball and Howard House’s site manager Albert Arrington, among others.
