Director of Nursing, Tuerk House, Inc.

Reporting to the Executive Director (ED), the Director of Nursing (DON) assumes authority, responsibility, and accountability for the delivery of nursing services, nursing policies, procedures, and practices. The DON determines and schedules nursing staff according to patient census and acuity and is responsible for scheduling licensed nurses for twenty-four hours coverage. The DON implements an effective and ongoing program to monitor, evaluate, and improve the quality of nursing care delivered to Tuerk House patients. The position is responsible for all day to day nursing activities.

Executive Director, Tuerk House, Inc.

The Executive Director has overall responsibility for the planning, implementation, administration and management of Tuerk House, Inc. programs, services and systems in accordance with its by-laws and in full compliance with applicable licensing, regulatory, and accreditation standards. The Executive Director effectively communicates and implements the mission and vision of Tuerk House, Inc. by overseeing day-to-day operations; managing and developing staff; assuring high quality care; maintaining programmatic integrity; developing a strong referral base; and, assuring sound fiscal management. This position responds to new, emerging challenges and works in concert with the Board and staff of Tuerk House, Inc. to utilize evidence-based practices for service, funding, and advocacy. The Executive Director serves as a spokesperson for the organization in a wide and highly visible range of situations and confidently provides inspiring leadership, mobilizes broad based support, and identifies opportunities for the growth and funding of Tuerk House, Inc.'s mission. This position serves as an ex-officio member of the Tuerk House, Inc. Board of Directors.

Cook

Prepare or direct preparation of food served using established production procedures and systems. Determine the amount and type of food and supplies required using production systems. Check in food orders, laundry and all other deliveries. Set steam table; serve or ensure proper serving of food for tray line or dining room. Including set up and assembly of tray line. Plan food production to coordinate with meal serving hours so that excellence, quality, temperature, and appearance of food are preserved. Prepare specific food items based on menu including but not limited to baked goods such as muffins and dessert items. Keep work area and food preparation areas clean at all times. Clean and maintain equipment used in food preparation areas. Complete food temperature checks before service.

RN/LPN

Follows-up with any patients in need of medical follow-up as determined by review of medical file/documentation. Administer all medications to clients as needed and is responsible for safe and secure storage of all medications. Keep abreast of all State standards for nursing practice in an intermediate care facility and to keep in compliance with these standards at all times. Perform the Nursing Assessment for each client at admission, and provide for each client at discharge a care plan for continuing medical conditions. Maintains all medical forms in clinical records in complete and timely manner. Maintains accurate records of TB testing of all employees. Monitor client’s complaints and incident’s; reply in accordance with agency/ regulatory body guidelines for complaint tracking procedures and complaint policy. Maintain a system of client care records; reporting forms, client and service data and any other needed client care information as required.

RN/LPN

Program Assistant (PA)

Responsible for monitoring all clients to ensure that appropriate procedures are being used in accordance with the program compliance requirements. Maintain documentation of all client contact and outcomes. Responsible for overall implementation and oversight of services that are directed by the Clinical team for the program.

Counselor for Substance Abuse Treatment (Outpatient/Inpatient)

This individual plans and conducts therapeutic activities including treatment planning, discharge planning, and individual and group therapy.
