Dancing for Recovery 2013 Professional Dancers

Tammy & Kevin Tammy Brown and Kevin Fitzhugh
Tammy Brown and Kevin Fitzhugh who formed their dynamic duo in 2001 will be dancing a West Coast Swing Fusion as part of the exhibition at the Dancing for Recovery event. Developing a unique style, swing fusion, that combines a mix of jitterbug, D.C. Hand Dancing and West Coast Swing, Kevin and Tammy have won both local and national competitions. They teach classes at the Hollywood Ballroom and the Promenade DanceSport Facility.
Chris &Michael Christina Bollino and Michael Sims
Christina is a professionally trained ballroom dance instructor and has competed professionally for many years.  She has been teaching and dancing for over 11 years.  She loves all of the dances but specifically competes in American Smooth and American Rhythm and enjoys Salsa and West Coast Swing socially as well.  She is also a certified personal trainer, yoga, pilates and zumba instructor and is a clinical nutrition intern studying to achieve her Masters in Nutrition and Integrative Health at Maryland University of Integrative Health. Shannon & Paul Shannon Thrasher and Paul Pietrzak
Shannon has been dancing for 21 years with 18 years of ballet training and performance as well as modern dance and jazz at Towson University.  She is a certified ballroom dance instructor at the Arthur Murray Dance studio in Towson, where she has teaching for the past six years.  She has garnered many honors for choreography and performing in ballroom dance. Paul is a certified ballroom dance instructor and has been teaching for eight years, in Florida and at the Arthur Murray Dance Studio in Severna Park. Shannon and Paul have been competing in American Smooth style in national competitions and have placed as finalists. 
Sean & Ana Anna Damen and Sean Climer
Two Master Dance Instructors have teamed up to bring more diversity to Baltimore's Salsa scene. With over thirty years of combined experience, they are both: dancers, teachers, performers, partners, choreographers, and competitors. Their social dance styles include influences from Ballroom, Latin, Afro Cuban, Swing, Hip Hop, Classical, and anything that looks cool. True professional instructors, they not only are experts of the dances, but also the art and science of teaching the beginner to the advanced dancer.
